Our mission at Stafford Junior School is to develop the unique abilities and potential of each child by offering an enriched educational program. We strive for excellence through a hands-on approach. Rich traditions rooted in our innovative curriculum grow productive, caring, and intellectually curious children.

We, at Stafford Junior School, follow a child-centered educational approach. We make sure that it is based on scientific observations from birth to adulthood. We believe that a child is naturally curious and is capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared environment.
Classes
We understand not every child can excel in a big class. SJS offers small class sizes, with a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, allowing for more loving and personalized attention.
Transport
Our school transport service is designed to provide a safe, reliable, and comfortable journey for young children to and from school.

At Stafford Junior School we offer Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) it is designed to help students develop essential skills and competencies that are vital for success in life. The curriculum focuses on holistic development, emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Whether it is our books or hands-on training, we make sure each student gets personal attention to cope up and flourish in every subject for better scores and a brighter future.
Languages
Languages play a central role in developing communication skills and fostering cultural identity. The CBC focuses on equipping students with proficiency in both English, Kiswahili and international languages, encouraging effective expression, and enhancing literacy across different contexts.
Mathematics
Mathematics is designed to help students develop strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and practical mathematical abilities that can be applied in everyday life and future career paths. Here at Stafford we emphasize understanding concepts rather than just memorization, with a focus on practical application and real-world contexts.
Sciences

A Word from the Director
SJS was born when parents who had seen the success of the senior school requested me to start a kindergarten for their kids. The senior school had shown excellence in all 5 pillars that the school stood on, that is, Spirituality, Discipline, Academics, Talent and Image.
See, everyone who knew me, knew clearly that I was a teen person and therefore I resisted the idea twice. On the third encounter, I decided to seek the Lord in prayer and January 2021, we admitted our first 2 kiddos.
In Term 2, we enrolled another 2 boys and closed the first year with a beautiful graduation of 4 boys moving to the next class July 2021 saw us moving to Naka to be closer to our clientele, and we were so delighted to welcome little ones who felt that SJS was a home away from home.
We currently are blessed to be a home to 60 kiddos!! To God be the glory.
We chose a home setup because we believe that not all kids excel in a large environment and we offer a place where parents feel that their child is loved, safe and well taken care of.
With great plans ahead, I know that the Lord has been faithful to us and I am fully persuaded that He will establish our plans.
